Primary Wave Music: Longtime hip-hop group Cypress Hill has signed on PRIMARY WAVE music for talent management. Their third album Cypress Hill III: Temples of Boom was released in 1995, selling 1.5 million copies and reaching number 3 on the Billboard 200 on the strength of the hit single Throw Your Set in the Air". Cypress Hill also contributed a track they Wanna Get High" to the High Times sponsored Hempilation record to support NORML. Cypress Hill viewed this as biting (stealing), and recorded the tune No Rest for the Wicked", by which they assault Cube and accuse him of stealing their music.
For some reason, they thought they were mainstream hip-hop...but they're now thinking that they might happen to be confused with Nappy Roots...those 2 word groups will get ya. What they did find though, was that Collie Buddz is shitloads of vigor and a badass reggae group having a complete live band. They remember being ridiculously excited to view Cypress Hill when what took the stage much later in the evening, although the whole day was excellent.

Producer/songwriter Greg Laswell will be kicking off a month long national tour using a show in the famous Troubadour nightclub in Los Angeles that evening. The dates take Kaki's group across the country and she, coming into a close at The Glasshouse in Pomona, CA, in late May. 2010 guarantees to function as the festival's largest and best year yet, with Jack Johnson and Dave Matthews Band topping the bill of over 40 groups over two days.
Through the tour, Cypress Hill will also perform at the Gathering of the Juggalos in Ohio on July 26th and at Budweiser's Made in la and will join Slightly Stoopid. An iconic act to both stoners and rap fans global, Cypress Hill are arguably the best Latino-American hip hop group of all time, and were the first of their type to earn platinum and multi-platinum discs.
Friday, June 14th/Saturday, June 15th Sting (at Borgata): The former Police frontman's Back to Bass Guitar" tour will undoubtedly be at Borgata for 2 nights, and these are his only area appearances and also a stop at Mohegan SunConnecticut. They're going to do this entry a little different then their usual way by making a basic breakdown of the tour and not break it up into individual stories for the 4 shows.
RISE UP is Cypress Hill's first new album in six years and features an all-star guest lineup, including Linkin Park vocalist Mike Shinoda, System Of A Down guitarist/vocalist Daron Malakian, Everlast, Young De, Evidence, The Alchemist and comedian icons Cheech & Chong. Mike had yet to move out to Pebble Beach by Wednesday, and planned to play just a handful of holes before stealing around to Cypress Point. They were gearing the tour name towards the marijuana legalization movement.
Other side projects that are notable contain B-Real's rap metal group Kush with members from Fear Factory and Deftones who are as yet to release any official content. To this very day, a lot of the hits of Cypress Hill stay on active rotation to the nation's leading hip-hop, rock and alternative playlists while Cypress Hill's sounds continue to rock the entire world's hottest celebrations that are underground. Fury came on first and Cypress headlined.
